In the year 2005, was brilliantly held the “III Chisinau Interbanking Conference”, which was attended by more than 160 representatives of financial institutions from USA, Germany, Switzerland, France, Portugal, Great Britain, Hungary, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Republic of Moldova, Georgia, Romania, Ukraine, Serbia and Montenegro. Representatives from the leading international financial structures and banks, as World Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, International Finance Corporation, “Citibank”, “Deutshe Bank”, “Bank of New York”, “American Express”, “Visa International”, “Western Union”, Savings Bank of Russian Federation, Impexbank (Russia), as well as representatives from the National Bank of Moldova, Association of Banks of Moldova, Moscow International Currency Association and Association of Regional Banks of Russia made speeches to the participants.

The “IV Chisinau Interbanking Conference” will bring together officials from public structures, the National Bank of Moldova, as well as representatives from commercial banks and financial institutions from CIS, Baltic countries, USA, Eastern and Western Europe. Today, the economy of former soviet union countries rises a new, more dynamic stage of development. Based on the increasing necessity of new achievements application in the banking sector, we strive for the junction of the European bankers experience with the experience of their colleagues from the CIS countries with the aim to stir up the actions oriented to the consolidation and development of interbank cooperation, fact which will allow to solve practical tasks. The Conference, as a catalyst between the representatives of banks from different countries, will contribute to the further harmonious development of the existent relations, will allow to establish working contacts and to find new business partners. In addition, the hosts prepared an interesting cultural program, which will give to all guests the unique chance to discover in non-formal environment the traditions and the cultural wealth of Moldovan people.
